At Homes for Support, you’ll play a key role in helping young people aged 16–21 — including care leavers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children — build confidence, develop independence, and prepare for adulthood.

You’ll provide day-to-day guidance, emotional support, and practical help that empowers young people to thrive and achieve their personal goals.

💼 What you’ll be doing:
🏠 Supporting young people in their daily routines – cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal organisation
🧠 Encouraging positive emotional wellbeing and resilience through consistent, caring relationships
📚 Helping young people access education, training, or employment opportunities
🗣️ Advocating for young people and promoting their voice in decisions that affect them
📝 Keeping clear, accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding and regulatory standards
🤝 Working closely with Local Authorities, social workers, and partner agencies to ensure positive outcomes

✅ What you’ll bring:

• Experience supporting young people in Supported Accommodation, residential, or community settings
• A genuine commitment to empowering young people to achieve independence
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Resilience, empathy, and a positive, proactive approach
• A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent (or willingness to work towards this)
