We are recruiting two Team Leaders to join our established therapeutic four-bed children’s home in Crewe, supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs.
These vacancies have arisen due to internal promotion - two of our three Team Leaders will be progressing into Deputy Care Manager roles. This reflects our genuine commitment to career pathways, succession planning, and staff development.
As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading shifts, supporting team members, and ensuring outstanding outcomes for children, while working closely with the Registered and Deputy Care Managers.

Key Responsibilities
Lead shifts and provide clear, supportive direction to the care team
Act as a positive role model for Residential Children’s Workers
Support children with complex emotional and behavioural needs
Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and daily records are accurate and child-focused
Promote safeguarding, consistency, and therapeutic practice
Work in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and quality standards
Support new staff through induction, mentoring, and supervision

Confidence leading shifts and supporting staff

Full driving licence
Commitment to safeguarding and professional standards
Ability to work a 2 on / 4 off rota, including sleep-ins
