Complex Care Residential Childcare Support Worker
Crewe, Cheshire | Full Training Provided | Childcare Experience Needed
Homes for Support is recruiting Complex Care Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our growing team in Crewe. We support children and young people with complex needs, including Deprivation of Liberty (DoLs) placements, in safe, therapeutic residential homes.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll help children feel safe, understood and supported every single day.
What the Role Involves
You’ll be part of a supportive team providing day-to-day care for children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. This includes supporting routines, providing emotional support, keeping children safe, and working closely with colleagues and professionals to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care.
No two days are the same, but you’ll never be on your own - teamwork and support are central to how we work.
No Experience? That’s Okay
You don’t need qualifications or previous childcare experience to apply. If you have the right attitude, we’ll provide:
Full induction and ongoing training
Fully funded Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (where required)
Supportive managers and regular supervision
Pay, Hours & Benefits
We offer £32,833.50 for complex care residential roles, with opportunities for overtime and progression. Shifts are rota-based on a two-day-on, four-day-off pattern. You'll work an average of 10 days per month and receive 14 annual leave days per year, growing to 19 days with loyalty.
From day one, you’ll have access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme for you and your household.
