# Senior Residential Children’s Worker

We’re looking for an experienced Residential Children’s Worker, to join one of our Ofsted-registered Therapeutic Children’s Homes in Crewe as an inspiring **Team Leader**.

At **Homes for Support** , you’ll be part of a growing team that provides nurturing, trauma-informed care to children and young people aged 5–18 with emotional and behavioural needs.

As a key member of our team, you’ll guide and support your shift team while creating safe, structured environments where children can thrive.

### 💼 What you’ll be doing:

👶 Providing warm, consistent care in line with safeguarding & therapeutic practices  
📚 Supporting education, routines, and emotional development  
🍳 Promoting life skills – cooking, budgeting, independence  
👥 Leading shifts, supervising colleagues, and role modelling best practice  
🗂️ Supporting home operations – logs, reports, and regulatory compliance  
🤝 Working closely with families, social workers, and external partners

### ✅ What you’ll bring:

- A **Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or Health and Social Care Level 3 or equivalent)**
- Previous experience in residential childcare
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Confidence in managing challenging situations and supporting complex needs
- A real commitment to child-centred, therapeutic care
